Shipping policy
Our commitment to delivering fresh and quality chocolates is unwavering, and we offer year-round shipping using UPS Ground and Express shipping options to most destinations in the US and Canada. During warmer seasons, we only provide Express options to specific locations to guarantee the freshness of your order. You will receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your package is shipped, enabling you to track and confirm its delivery status. During warm periods, we do NOT ship out on Friday's as UPS may not move your package over the weekend and the ice packs will melt.
Should you need to correct, adjust, or cancel an order, please reach out to us via email at sales@enjouchocolat.com or 973-993-9090 within 2 hours of placing the order, and we'll be happy to assist you.
Please note that delivery times are estimated, and we cannot offer refunds for packages delayed in transit. Kindly take this into consideration when placing your order and using our date selection tool and allow extra time for delivery, especially for events. Our shipping rates are calculated based on package weight and destination, and UPS provides real-time quotes for you.
IMPORTANT. The ship date on our checkout page is the date you want your package to ship from our store. It is NOT the date it will arrive. Once it leaves our store we cannot control or guarantee UPS's actual delivery dates. UPS does not guarantee shipping times, even when paying for overnight air shipping. Many variables such as weather and peak holiday traffic can affect estimated shipping times.
UPS MAY NOT leave a package in an unattended location if the driver doesn't feel comfortable and nobody is at home when they go to deliver. An example of this might be an apartment building without a security reception person. This is to avoid package theft. They may bring the package to a nearby UPS Store for the recipient to pick up in person. We cannot control this process and if this is unacceptable to you, we recommend you not ship our products to these types of locations.
We ship exclusively with UPS in the US and Canada, and most orders are shipped within 48 hours, except for those with a future ship date request. The speed or preparation depends on if the product is made to order versus a normally stocked item. We strive to add that to our Date pick calculator but cannot guarantee its accuracy. During holidays, it may take a little longer to get your order ready. Shipping duration varies between destinations and the shipping method selected, ranging from Next Business Day, Saturday Delivery, Express (2-3 business days), to Ground Shipping (up to 7 business days).
Cold Packs
To ensure that your chocolates arrive in the best condition possible, we recommend including a Cold Pack for destinations with temperatures exceeding 75 degrees. For hotter weather conditions above 90 degrees, we may have to hold your order until the weather cools down. If you do not select a cold pack and we feel based on location, climate, and forecast, that one is necessary, we will add it to the order and send you an update to pay the additional charge. We won't ship the package until you complete the updated payment.
Same Day Delivery
If you're looking for same-day delivery near Morristown on our regularly stocked items, we partner with reliable delivery services such as DoorDash and GrubHub. If you are not a monthly frequent member of one of these programs (Such as DashPass) the least expensive one is usually GrubHub via this link: GrubHub. Clover manages our DoorDash deliveries HERE.
Delays
Unfortunately, we cannot assume responsibility for delays experienced by shipping carriers due to weather, high volume, or other unforeseen issues. All shipping times are provided as estimates. We are unable to offer refunds for those reasons.
